Don't cost a thing but time if you know someone who hunts or if you take hikes in the woods and get lucky.
I haven't gotten around to making my own yet but have a small supply of antlers to do so.
I make them but it is not easy.

I've been collecting antlers but only cut up a couple pieces and started to turn a few to get started.
What kind of issues are making it not so easy?
I'm looking to use some but no experience with it yet.
Try turning something round when the piece is curved.

Yeah I get that. So I tried a couple short pieces between centers So I can keep the marrow in the center and core it out later.
I haven't got much further than that But hopefully going to get on it soon so I can use it on a cue.

Got them, but I didn't use the drill press. I made centers on short pieces and put them between centers on the lathe and that seemed to work so far.
