In May 2023, Sierra Billiards officially opened in Fresno, Ca at the old location for Diamond Billiards that was forced to close after COVID. I’ve posted photos of how upscale and attractive Sierra Billiards is and the emphasis placed on having the best pool tables to play pool.
Since it’s opening, Sierra Billiards has become recognized as having the largest selection of liquor in California from Sacramento to LA. The bar has become known as almost iconic in the variety in liquor selections and the pool tables are strictly Diamond 7’ and 9’ tables.
It’s rare that a business can flourish so much in its initial two years of business that a second location is being opened. The renovation and all the other start up costs for a new enterprise are enormous and so it typically takes awhile longer before expansion takes place.
Sierra just announced it was opening a 2nd location and it will be located in a much larger building. It promises to help elevate the status and popularity of pool in Fresno and the immediate Central Valley region of CA. This is so encouraging that I am starting to believe pool does indeed have a brighter future than I’ve imagined.
