My 1963 Valley 770 table has this coin slide.
I want to make my coin-op table coinless. If you have been successful doing this, please let me know how you did it.
Thanks in advance.

I cant remember what I did on mine, it was at least 5 years ago but I was able to figure out how the coin allowed the slider to go all the way in and I disabled the locking mechanism so you could push it all way in with no coin. It was only a single quarter slide. It wasn't anything permanent so I can change it back to a working coin mech if I wanted. I originally had the glass door off but our cat kept crawling inside the pool table thru the opening.

I figured it out. I used a metal roll pin, a metal dowel and 2 zip ties. Simply placed the roll pin under the 4 levers on the top of the slide and held it in place with the zip ties. I placed the dowel under the 2 bottom levers which fit snug with the spring tension on the levers. It will still accept the 2 dimes when I have guests over.
