Is WD40 acceptable. Have BreakFree and Tri-Flo.Turn it upside down, use the least amount of penetrating oil you can, let it sit for fifteen minutes and it should come apart.

I never over tighten. First time this happened on any cue. They dont look like this do they? View attachment 844877
Yes it’s a 2. I never over tighten.. it sat on a wall rack for over a year without using. So you have unscrewed before. The reason I ask is the cues I posted before were one piece by Cuetec
You idea is valid. I tried wearing rubber chemical gloves. I need someone with stronger hands/arms. Don’t want to hurt myself twisting. This may sound stupid, but what if you wrapped a double thick wrap of some wide painters tape around ea piece above and below the joint, about 4" wide worth. After that, wrap some non slip sticky back tape, skateboard tape, on top of the painters tape for a good grip. I would make sure to wrap the painters tape in the direction that you are twisting it, so you would be wrapping the painters tape in different directions for the butt and shaft. That way, It would not try to unwrap itself underneath.
If that doesn't get it apart, I don't know what to tell you. Also if you have put oil or wax on already, clean it off first good.
