Check on a BK Rush second hand cue I'm purchasing

I am in the process of purchasing a second hand Predator BK Rush break cue. I'm paying too much, but am tired of trying to purchase one online. Seems it would be easy, but it's not if my experience is any indication. I'd like to verify that the cue is not a fake and not stolen. Does anyone here know where the serial numbers are on the butt and shaft, and if there is a data base somewhere I can check to verify? Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, what makes the BK Rush more desirable than other break cues from reputable brands? I'm not asking to be a smartass. I'm genuinely curious as to what the draw is to these specific break cues.
Well, my experience is very limited My current break cue is a McDermott Birdseye Maple butt with a McDermott break shaft with a phenolic tip/ferule. I have a reasonably good break normally but last week I was struggling. I had 6 breaks in a row dry. I realized the ferule was loose and asked a friend if I could use her break cue, a BK Rush. I had three breaks and made two balls twice and three on the other. The difference in hi and the spread of the balls was apparent right away. I've been playing for a long time and I've never had breaks like that, and it just felt different. I purchased the McDermott because it was not expensive and I wanted to have a cue to play with that wasn't my playing cue. After this experience I decided a good break cue was in order. I've borrowed some other break cues but none were like this for me. Others may be just a good, but I believe many pros play with the BK Rush break cues and I figured I would try one. I figure if I don't like it I can resell it because they sell for more second hand than new.

Fair enough. I appreciate the response. I've heard about these things for quite a while now and have never gotten the lowdown.

Shaft - It's on the outside side of the pilot - That round brass thing sticking out from the joint.
Butt - Either on the tip of the uniloc pin or the silver around the bottom of the butt.

Thanks for the info. The sale fell through, but I will be seeking another one so the information will be helpful.

Honestly I don’t find the bk rush to any better then the bk3 I should have kept lol

If you don't mind the ask. Why did the sale fall through?
It was an eBay purchase and I'm not sure why it fell through. The reason given for sale cancellation was seller wanted to cancel. So, who knows? I started asking a lot of questions after the sale was completed, like was he the original owner, did have original receipt, could he tell me when it was originally purchased and so forth. His original response to my barrage of questions was "Why should I answer these I'm not selling this anymore" which I thought was odd, but I then figured he probably did not realize I was the one who bought it. I explained that for some reason, prior to the sale I could not get the message to seller to work, or I would have asked him prior to purchase. Then I got the message he had cancelled. I see now that he has relisted the cue so maybe he just thought I was a smart ass for asking so many questions and decided he didn't want to sell to me. One other possibility is I happened to purchase the cue fairly soon after he listed it. In his new listing he raised the price $250 which I think is poor form after agreeing to sell it for less.
