Help identify joint pin?

Edit: I figured it out, lol.

3/8 of an inch width - 3/8, and 11 threads per inch makes this 3/8x11.

So, do I have that right? The pin is 3/8x11?

So, any 3/8x11 shaft should fit it?

Hard to tell scale here but 3/8-10 is likely. Flat faced 5/16-14 is a possibility.

I'll root for 3/8-10 because it will be easier to find a shaft. Most 5/16s have a pilot, a nub that would be recessed into the joint end.

I’ve had meuccis and other off brands where the 5/16-18 is flat
The recess is known as piloted 5/16-18 or 14

Not modified, there’s a flatter area at the root of the thread for those

has to be a 3/8-10 modified pin. The difference between that and a standard 3/8-10 is the inner diameter of the thread is bigger. a non modified shaft will not fit on a modified pin.

you need to use calipers to measure the thread pitch. a photo of the joint pin next to a ruler may be more helpful for a member here to identify.

I got a Pierce with 3/8-11 it looks alot like that.

Zoom out and place a ruler beside the joint pin. Count the amount of threads in an inch. If you have a set of calipers and can tell us the O.D and an aproximate minor that helps a lot.
Often it helps a lot just by telling us what brand/maker this cue is.

They have to be bored out to 38mm or so to work (or at least do for the 3 modified joint butts I have.)

I feel like making a 3/8-9.5 pin that measures .385 and is actually 7 pitch

I really think that cue joint/pins need to be standardized and there should be like 2 or 3 joint types used.
I hate it when every maker uses a different and unique joint.
5/16x14 for piloted SS joint
Radial or 3/8x10 modified for flat paced and everything else.
