Noah’s Ark rains last year left us with some issues in the basement and my table in need of re-leveling and a good going over after 70 or so years and so she got new cushions as well. Tim Tonjum from the Faribault, MN area worked on my table 6 years ago - was thrilled to have him back. New superspeeds, some 860HR and ready for me to use this evening while watching SVB (whose home table Tim sets up - so I guess that’s pretty good for references, lol, but the guy knows his stuff). Just a basement knock around player here and super excited for winter!

No idea - maybe to match the black "wrap" around the bottom of the legs where the aluminum bands were supposed to be. I assume the bands were "stripped" to sell or for some other reason - or the corners were abused in some way like the bands may have been. When my parents bought a different house in the 80s this table came with the house and the table we had since the mid 70s (no idea what brand but it was actually a really good quality table with a slate bed for a relatively inexpensive table - actually did all the setup when I was 13 and again when they moved when I was 15) stayed behind so "traded up", lol. But this is the way it looked when they moved into their house and I ended up with it when we bought our first house 30 years ago.

Haha, it's charming! Play's really nice, looks unassuming - have to go with that, can't afford a new Diamond! If we ever move, it stays with the house and if I'm still ambulatory, lol, a new table.

FYI - the sides are the original wood, so never had the white paint in the grooves. Kind of a Franken-versary.

I love my Anniversary 😁 also have a 10' Arcade. The only thing missing is a Centennial
