Hey Guys, just wanted to share my buddies experience with Ebay recently. He bought a Spanky cue from a seller, and the seller " sent it to the wrong address" and scammed by buddy out of 700 bucks. Ebay did NOT help with this situation. He even went to the post office and got a letter saying that the cue was not delivered to his address. I would be Aware of who you are buying from on ebay. Not cool..

My friend had almost the same situation, he bought a 2000$ cue and received a cheap Walmart cue. Since the cue was sent to correctly address with tracking number. PayPal and eBay won’t refund or do anything about it. Make sure buy from a reputable seller or known seller. Don’t see cheap deal and jump for it, sometimes it’s too good to be true deal, it’s really isn’t real.

PayPal would have reimbursed him in full if he used it as a purchase and not send payment using Family & Friends.
I use PP all the time. It’s never failed to reimburse me in full for damaged items, not as described or not delivered.

I make it a point to use PP, especially on several hundred of transactions over several decades I’ve made using eBay.
100% of my my claims have always recovered my payment in full & I’ve had to file a few dozen claims over the years.

I once bought a 40 dollar golf club. Didn't come, got a letter saying they were going chapter 11. Figured I was out 40 bucks but I let paypal know anyway. Few days later I got my refund.
