Maybe I have a bad memory, but I don't remember ever seeing everyone in the top 10 at over $100,000 in earnings. Is Matchroom and the Predator Pro Series doing thing right? Are the players making extra from the Chinese 8 ball events? It used to be maybe 2-3 players were over 100k for the year, not the top are way over that.

Not sure what you are getting at? If more are making more money, I think they are doing things right.

Pros on average are making more now than ever. Its combined earnings: WNT, ProSeries, Heyball, action play, lessons, endorsements, etc. Still under snooker/dart $$ but its the best pool has been maybe ever. A little story: i know a couple guys that are workin stiffs that play just about every Fargo rated scotch-doubles tourn. they can find. They both knocked down around 30kish last year just doing this. The $$ is out there at all levels.

have to ask mike if heyball or duya (9-ball, different promoter) is included. i doubt it.

and to your question yes, the money has hiked up just the last two years, US open now pays 100k for first, WC is 250k for first. then qatar 10b pays 100k, etc. predator have 75k for their WC's. plus all the other majors like UK open etc. it adds up
