I already know that SBE is April 9-12 2026
But I haven't been to one since before Covid. Now there's been no action on this thread in three years.

Is this event dead? Is it as big as in the past? I'd like to go but is it worth the drive?

I`ve been going since 1995. Wouldn`t miss this event. To me Hell yes its worth going.
Lots of vendors, lots of cues to see and even better, great friends to see as well.
To me, it will never be as big as it was than when it was at the Radisson, but where its at now, is a pretty easy place to get into. Hope this helps you out

I live in the area and used to go every year, but now I go every few years because the number of exhibitors seems to have decreased. It's now a matter of whether I need any equipment. For just wandering around to see the exhibitors' tables, the entrance fee isn't worth it for me. Honestly, the last time I went, which was probably in 2024, was underwhelming. Part of that feeling is probably because I remember the Radisson years so fondly.

I need some equipment, so I plan to go this year. I'll see if my league teammates want to make an afternoon or evening of it. I want to support SBE and hope to see more exhibitors this year.

It’s still pool heaven.. my current job doesn’t allow me to take that week off at this point but the wife and I will go for the day saturday and then reward her patience by spending the night and going to the king of Prussia mall where I will pay for purchases I made at the expo with her buying another $1k pocket book she doesn’t need lol I wouldn’t miss it

I am going to be there for the weekend and am looking for a recommendation for poolrooms nearby. It is a bonus if we can watch the masters while we play.

I've gone almost every year since about 2020 and always find something for cue making. I started playing in the seniors tournament a couple years ago and that covers entry for all 4 days. A group of 6 going this year and looking forward to it.

Markley Billiards is about 20 minutes away. The owner takes very good care of the equipment, fair prices, and everyone I have met there have been good people. My friends and I stop in there every year.

It is a great time. I feel like last year there were more vendors than there has been in the past. If you register for one of the events, your entry gets you in for the whole time.

Watching the pros can get expensive. They have afternoon and evening sessions for every day. That adds up. Wish Alan would come up with a pass to watch the whole tournament for a fair price.
