Pagulyan Carbon Fiber shaft?

I just tried one of Vince's shafts too and it was excellent! The first solid hitting carbonish shaft I've come across. The shaft had very low deflection and was beautiful. I second Ajay''s recommendation to try out one of Vince's shafts.

I just saw the video on YouTube. I mean, I cant knock it, the taper is interesting, but the price ain't. I am not a fan of carbon fiber shafts. They perform fine, but the "ping", its a preference. 800 dollars? Lmao. No. We used to buy custom cues for 800 and it was a HUGE expense

Thanks Ram!! Vince is a class act and knows his shit when it comes to shafts. Plus he's got the pedigree.
Btw... There's no ping with Vince. He's a magician.
 
As I do find the price to be too high for my preference, Some of you are willing to pay similar prices for other shafts. T60 shafts are near $700 and Hsunami shafts are selling through dealers for about $700.
Don't blame those who charge if there are those who are willing to pay.

The players that are actively training and grinding to improve their game are a small minority in the pool community. Most players play league once a week and maybe donate to a tournament on the weekend for some competitive “fun”. Thats the main demographic that’s made Predator and Cuetech millions. A new shaft with marketing that practically promises 100 fargo points is much more attractive than boring old practice 😉

They are "sold out" on the web site and pre-order is closed

Scotch is a whisky, you can't be related to it. The people are Scots or Scottish. Sorry know I'm being pedantic, but as a Scot it just sounds ridiculous to me, like someone claiming to have American heritage saying they were part bourbon would sound to you(admittedly there was a French royal family with that name so I suppose you could be part bourbon).

There is one company that I know of, that made their shaft stand out. Tiger. Their Fortis shaft has an orange ferrule.

These are just people's opinions. That release could be true or a bunch of bs bcuz pre orders sucked and they hope this helps later sales.
People can spend their money any way they choose. It's theirs. People can also poke fun at something like this that literally begs for it. I hope pags does well with his campaign. Right time for it.
I might need a loan someday.
But I'm still going to poke him.

Have we heard from anybody that played with it or pre ordered one?? I haven't heard a peep in my area about this which is odd.
 
if pre orders are sold out you better get your order in or they might raise the price,

actually $800 is very reasonable, just think of it as just 20 cubes of the chalk you buy.

I have two Pags chalk. Actually three… but it’s green and I wanted blue. The squareness is why I bought them,

Got given a few pieces of blue and it plays alright. I found it to be quite soft in the beginning, and was worried I would get through it quickly, but as I got down to the wrapper, it's become a bit more resilient. Used it for 3/4 months now, and it will easily last me a year or longer at this rate (and I play a couple hours a day). Applies well, clean and I actually like the shorter sized square.

Any noticeable difference between green and blue?
