Meucci Diamond Ebony

Hello everyone.

I would like to ask for your opinions about this cue that I bought from Seybert's. It was advertised as Limited Diamond Ebony cues, which made from African Ebony.

So, I got it delivered, and several people I showed it to have criticized it to some degree.
Do you like the cue? Are you happy with what you received for the money you spent? If not send the cue back to Seybert's.

It matters very little what everyone else thinks of the cue.

good looking wood. may not be what you thought but when buying unseen you get what you get.

decent quality ebony for the price probably what you paid.

Personal preferences for sure. I love those look. To me, all the pointed veneer are generics, nothing special about them. Others more complex inlays are also mostly decals. The newest Cues Lee Snake limited series are insanely nice though, and if I had the cash to burn, that would be ways better than any custom stick I would like

They have a lot of great designs, though they haven't really added any new ones in a while.

Also, for some reason even the really generic Meuccis look cooler than their peers to me. I think it's the ring work + larger butt that make them stand out. I have an ANW-1 and think it looks great, and so does my buddy's early 90s European series.

Grew up on 'em. Never scratched a cue. Got a few pocket-rubber smudges but those come off easy.
Rubber shit on shafts is normal. I can’t remember scratching a cue on one before but I played on a piano black GC3 in Waterford. When I finished playing I noticed several scratches. Afterwards I noticed the score counters were sticking up a bit from the rail. OMG, you should see the GC6’s at Red River Billiards. The pocket castings aren’t even close to being flush with the rails. Mark Gregory’s input on the rails make the table play even closer to a Blue Label than the 4 but the rest of the table design is pure shit.
