I was originally looking at some of their cheaper cues for a basic bar banger, but this one caught my eye and I couldn't seem to let it go...so I bought it! It's quite a bit different in style & material than I've considered in the past as I was never a fan of Abalone, Mother of Pearl, etc. However, I'll soon be 59 and I now find it appealing, at least in this case. I like it. It's beautiful and, though I've only played with it for just over an hour, I find it well balanced with a good hit. I think it's going to be a consistent player for me. By the way, I got the Classic CF shaft with a Taom Fusion tip. I think I'm really gonna like that tip too!

J.Flowers is just a name purchased(stolen?) by a Chinese billiard group. Same group owns Crical, Konllen and others. They use various factories to produce the cues. This is a nice looking cue. Too gaudy for me personally but looks to be well done.

I have a Jflowers cue from the same series, really solid player, just as good as any other high-end production cues out there. I've upgraded to the SMO shaft and it's my favorite CF shaft of the ones I have.
The thing I don't like about JFlowers is that many of the cues are overlays, they need more cues with real inlays.

Beautiful, My next purchase is going to be the other one with MOP small shorter inlays, think the same inlays, I also plan on upgrade to their new SMO Carbon 11.75 shaft but Ive been thinking of trying their new SMO wood shaft!

I was originally going to buy one of the cheaper decal cues from this series, but I kept coming back to this, both for the design and the fact that it has actual inlays. I am extremely happy with my choice! I am curious about the SMO shaft, having seen a lot of positivity for it on the internet, but I am really satisfied with the Classic shaft (and Taom Fusion tip). I just don't know if the SMO can make it much sweeter for me.

I believe it is an Overlay cue. Overlays are mentioned in the description of it. $699 for an Overlay cue. Expensive price, for cheap materials.

For example, I bought this one last year
and i'm 100% sure it was ebony in the description....

damn i feel i was robbed. Here is the question I asked in july 2023:

I dont have the screenshot (they answer directly on their website I believe, but the answer was Yes, it is ebony and the mapple part describes the core of the butt.

Now that they removed completely the ebony part in the description, I assume they just lied to me. It was an expensive cue if it's just black stain mapple.

For whatever it is worth, it appears a lot of high tech went into the making of the cue. Reminds me of the Gen 2 SVB Cuetec cues. I believe they are Overlay cues too, and they retail for either $899, or $999. But, the tech they put into the butt looks super cool, on that JFlowers cue. I am sure it will be a great playing cue. I believe that even Predator cues are built with cheap overlay materials. At least the ones in the under $1k price range. I read a story about this guy who got his Predator refinished, and during the process, all of the Black spray paint came off, and the bare Maple was shown under the Spray paint, or whatever Overlay material they use.
