Wtb triple sixty 3/10 modified adapter

So far as I know, the 3/8-10 adapter is for both the original and the modified pin. I have an original pin and the adapter is a bit big (it is fine if tightened but is comes loose and you have to retighten it).
I've had several teammates with this same problem... loosens slightly after a few firm hits and needs a quick twist to tighten. Still hits like a locomotive..
My guess is that the fit is tighter on a modified, but I can’t confirm that. I do know that with a “normal” shaft I can put a modified shaft on my original pin joint, but an original shaft will not fit on a modified joint (the pin is too big).
I had the same problem on my RC3 cues with the glass G10 pin. Just too tight! Had to take to machinist and ever so slightly ream it out. Now works well! And. just for fun the machinist drilled out an extra adapter I had, made a plastic insert(I don't know exactly what he used) and taped that out. This is now the preferred adapter I use.
Hope my location is near from yours, so you could use my work adapter for Whyte Carbon shaft. I make them fit perfectly and not loose.

Unfortunately I’m in Canada. Maybe I will try to get a local cue guy to modify the adapter so it fits tighter.
I make adapter by myself, not modify Whyte carbon adapter.
Or I will just wait for another friend to need an extension and piggyback on their shipping! Lol
