i only learned to jump last week, and I only have experience with the Jacoby jump cue
but that basic 150 dollar jacoby jumper made jumping very easy. I watched half of a youtube video and learned the "dart method" - sunk my first jump shot first try
I don't jump much and bought a cheap knockoff Chinese cue to try and made 5-6 successful jumps with it. If it's a 1/2 or 3/4 ball jump i use my playing cue and a full ball I'll look at kicking
