Wow, Bergman has ice in his veins and wins 8-7.

Imagine if this man was in the Mosconi Cup instead of Tyler last year.

USA would have won.

seems a likely reason. the pinoys playing are players with a higher WPA participation last year than chua
Chua is sixth in WPA points among Pinoys. Two Filipinos, Lee Van Corteza and Joven Bustemante, are behind him but got invites.

He might not have been invited, but he could also have turned an invitation down. Seems like Chua is cutting back on travel this year.

He still has young kids, mind you, and he’s building his own business. Just opened a new pool hall and he is set to open “Bad Koi Pro Shop to sell gear much like the Ko brothers and Fedor Gorst.

Chua has only played in three events this year, all in Asia. He accumulated 27,000 WNT points in those three events. That’s easily the most by any Asian player in this calendar year.

I doubt he will show up at the UK Open. I imagine he’ll play in the WPC, but he’s had sporadic attendance over the years at the US Open. Sure hope he doesn’t scale way back - he’s so much fun to watch!

I find the Predator scheduling quite odd. You would think they want to finish on a weekend like the WNT. Instead, the majority of Predator's events end midweek from Monday to Thursday. Only a few end on a Sunday.

Wish there was more uniformity to scheduling. The lack thereof further compresses an already tight calendar.

Justin fouls shooting a rail first shot, but the ref doesn't call it. She comes back and appears to say it's good, but Sky questions her and asks to see it.

They review it on a spectator's phone and Sky gets ball in hand. Pretty insane to use a spectator's phone showing the stream to get the call.

The video of Biado running out the rack is here:

I can't put a timestamp on it yet because it's still live, but just skip to the beginning.
