Quickest way to recognize what fraction the hit is?

Ask an aiming question... :ROFLMAO:

There's a reason for the anal specificity though - consistency. It's not even a stretch to narrow it down from a buncha bawlls to the one functional alignment.

Okay
You said it not me.
Anal.
What I said is that we complicate the game.
The more you have floating around in your head the more you have to control on every shot and in your PSR.
I prefer to simplify.
You be you and good on you.

I come from the technique equals competence school - I'm not a virtuoso at anything but by that token so much the more. You need functional detail in anything you do. You make notes of what number is where, right?
I get the accomplished master of the universe vibe but seriously, how high up the pool chain will that get you? I suppose enjoyment is an argument but it's not an aiming argument.

Okay.
All I'm saying is you be you in your progression through the game.
I hope it serves you well.
I have a different approach if that's okay with you.

How do the players here that use fractional aiming recognize what fraction the hit is? The basic ones, full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4,1/8 I can usually see, but its the 3/8 , 5/8 , etc .. those are the ones that give me real trouble.
A new pair of glasses maybe? ... using fractions should be only a starting point to help you to hit the exact OB contact point with the CB.
That is the science. Making the CB hit the exact OB contact point using speed, spin, follow, draw, squirt, table conditions, pressure, etc. is the art.
Doing it time after time, game after game is the goal.
