Parting with one of my Gus Szamboti cues and Fellini case. Cue was refinished by Pete Tascarella who also wrote a LOA on this cue in 2024 prior to being refinished and the wrap replaced with the shown black leather. Cue comes with two original Gus shafts, each with ivory ferrules.
Cue Details:
Four ebony points and ebony butt sleeve
5/16" x 14 stainless joint and classic Gus trim rings and stitch work
Forearm is highly figured BEM
Black buffalo leather (recent)
Points have veneers of natural, double ebony and lime green
Butt sleeve has a ring near the Delrin cap complementing the point veneers - double black, double lime green and double natural center.
Delrin cap
Butt section of cue is 28.5" in length and weighs 15.73 oz
Shaft #1 is 28.5" in length and weighs 3.84 oz, ivory ferrule, original Gus shaft
Shaft #2 is 28.5" in length and weighs 4.06 oz, ivory ferrule, original Gus shaft
Shaft diameters measured just before the ferrules using a digital Mitutoyo caliper - 12.95mm and 12.78mm
This cue rolls dead straight with each shaft on a pool table. Probably the straightest cue I have ever rolled.

Working latch (shows age on brass)
No visible damage or wear

Cue comes with butt and shaft custom Gus joint protectors with matching stitch work and lime green, natural and ebony rings
