Sounds like league pool last night. 
The BCAPL, (I think) 8 ball league.
I was forced to find my Best Game and was forced er uh fortunate to Rin a rack. AFTER getting my ass handed to me by Wess. Kinda like a bitch slap. 
with 3 person team playing each 2 games showed 4-2 FOR me. The team prevailing in 2 of 3 categories. Don't ask me, which what or why.
The other team interaction was cordial and made for good competition. And a beer (or ⚁ 2).
The good part of old timers is all the new friends I make.
