I have an old cuetec fiberglass sst cue with a misthreaded shaft joint. It looks like a poly compound insert. I will bet you fellows have a bunch of these. Any thoughts on repair would be appreciated.
Get it to any competent cue maker, and they will fix you right up. There's not really an insert to replace, but with the right lathe it's a pretty quick and easy job to replace the threads.
