I just finished speaking with someone who offered to pay through Goods & Services but expected me to absorb the additional processing fees. I want to be clear that I always try to conduct every transaction honestly and professionally. With my name and reputation involved, I will do everything I reasonably can to make sure the cue is accurately represented and arrives safely to the buyer.


The buyer also brought up a previous situation where a customer asked to return a cue because he simply did not like how the cue “felt” when playing with it. There was nothing wrong with the cue, and there were no mechanical or structural issues. However, no seller, dealer, or cue maker can guarantee how a particular player will personally feel about a cue after playing with it.


Every player has different preferences when it comes to weight, balance, hit, feedback, taper, shaft diameter, and overall feel. Those are subjective characteristics, and ultimately, the buyer has to decide whether those characteristics suit his or her playing style.


I have yet to see a reputable cue dealer or cue maker guarantee that a buyer will personally love the way a cue feels after purchasing and playing with it. That is simply something no one can guarantee.
