Anyone else prefer the Mezz Sigma over the WX900 or am i just stupid?

Ive had a wx900 for 2 weeks now. Ive always had past cues made or turned down to 12-12.2mm and thats my preferred tip size. The problem im having is the wx900 has almost too low deflection and too strong of spin. Ive played 3 sessions with it now and maybe 75 total racks and can not get used to it. I am way over position almost everywhere. Also the hit is weird for me. I dont get a ton of feed back and it sounds more like a wood bat cracking than that classic ping?

In contrast my Sigma has that classic great hollow ping sound and amazing feed back to the butt. Maybe im used to higher deflection Shafts but my position is massively more predictable with the sigma than the wx900. I probably had 150 racks total on the sigma before going wx900 and I am going to sell the wx900 and switch back.

My problem now is I really prefer the 12mm tip to the 12.5 but id rather trade back up to the 12.5 in favor of the predictability with position and the great ping and feed back i get with the sigma. I am just playing better with the sigma. I also dont want to risk turning the sigma down to 12.2 in fear of losing the sound, feed back or possibly increasing deflection by changing its natural production process. So it looks like im sticking with the sigma and possibly ordering a sigma slim in the future to try i guess.

I hate being at a mental cross road. It kind of gets in my head while playing so id like to only own one playing shaft at this point to just force myself to get used to it and play on. I feel stupid though after reading about the wx900 and its extremely low deflection and how good it plays for months. Ive probably read everything there is to read on here and reddit about that shaft before purchasing one.

I don’t think that 3 sessions are enough to learn and get used to a shaft. Especially when it has a different diameter and deflection characteristics.

Even if you think that you got the aiming right, in many situations we fall back to what we’re used to.
And obviously you haven’t gotten the control and speed down.
It takes a couple of months to really get used to a new shaft like that for it to become natural in hand.
