RECOMMENDATION FOR SPRAY POOL BALL CLEANER

I keep heating about the marks from Diamond pockets but I honestly have never found a mark from the pockets on my Diamond Professional pockets in the 7 years or so that I have had it.
My one leagues Diamond bar boxes that they bought used, used to mark the balls quite a bit. You could scrape them off with your fingernail.
Yeah not sure why some do and some don't, but it's common. My Diamond Professional marks firmly-hit balls. That's after pocket replacement; before they were replaced the balls would look like someone drew on them with a fat black marker.

The newer Diamond tables at a place I play at also mark the balls. The near-30 year old Diamond tables at another place I play never mark the balls. Perhaps all the dye has already rubbed off on those.

Ball marking is a disappointing reality for otherwise great tables.

Yeah..I clean the pockets and seal them. I really only get it when I really rifle a ball into a pocket and hit it pure.

what have you guys used and liked
looking for something to spray on the balls when in the tray of the cleaner
rather doing one ball at a time
using maguiars ultimate detail now but it has wax in it i believe
thanks in advance
Brillianize works great...or the BallStar liquid ... If you are in Boynton stop buy I'll fill a spray bottle for you. I spray while in the tray also.... simply wash/dry the tray when done.

Been using the Ballstar liquid for 10 years, but recently switched to alcohol and Aramith.
So far so good.
The downside to the Ballstar stuff is that it has some silicone or something in it that makes the balls very slick for the first few racks.
My pickier opponents complained about it, so I switched and it helps. No more super draw for the first few racks.

thats what i find with maguiars ultimate detail but after a few racks the balls play pretty standard to me

Mine was marking when it was new. I put neetsfoot oil on it and that stopped the marks for about 2 years. It recently started marking again so time for another treatment.

This... small spray bottles can be found..

Our pool hall has recently made a switch to new carpets in the diamond ball polisher, utilizing a 4:1 ratio of 90% isopropyl alcohol to aramith ball cleaner. The balls come out looking almost factory new.

it isnt so much how pretty the balls turn out its more of how they turn out so they play in a standard fashion as you would have in other pool rooms.

and most importantly how they should be.

Clean your Simonis with just a clean mildly damp cotton washcloth. Use the alcohol / Aramith spray mix as others described here,, use Taom V 10 chalk and the table and balls will be good to go for two weeks to a month of almost daily sessions on a home table. If you play always with clean hands or use a clean glove.

I found that the$120 Amazon 16 ball cleaner from China has been flawless for me for 9 months now.
