    Ministry Of Silly Walks - Monty Python - Part 11.

    It might have helped if I ate something but but I was in a state of grief and shock and stunned when my sidekick and buddy Sasha came back home and I crashed out on the sofa later and slept through until thee back of 3pm Friday , woke up with jelly legs , every muscle ached . Time check is 5.36am Saturday 23rd May 2020 but when you lose a buddy time doesn't really matter for a while does it ?

    Once I got back home I thought oh well at least I've found out the post office shuts at 4pm and that's where my internet deal is so if the bills not paid they will disconnect the service so once I got home and my breath back was message the family to see if they could help me out . By that time I'd missed the Spar shop , they,ve cut back their working hours so it was Tesco or bust , I took Sasha there everytime except the other week , two very heavy bags of shopping later & the walk home I was shattered .

    The Gully hole , Par 3 .

    The golf course was empty apart from a few people walking dogs and I met an old friend Simon who had his family and his Labrador called Sammy for a walk and I gave him a shout and told him what happened so it was time for the next part of the journey home , through the woods and wild bluebell flowers and past the tree swing tree where we used to play and make camp fires so I had to laugh then across the boulevard and the walk on the Main Street home .

    The Gully hole , Par 3 .

    I got to the side of the green but I had to sit down for a rest and take the days events and take it all in . there's a few holes on the local course than make you look like a fool , especially growing up and playing as a kid for the 1st time . My golf clubs were 2nd hand & a mix & match , probably the reason I like Patrick Reed so I bought a 2nd hand Lee Trevino 7 iron and it was like a magic wand all of a sudden I could reach greens and one day I nearly aced The Gully and knocked in the Birdie putt but it was time for the next part of the journey home .

    The Gully hole , Par 3 .

    The Tee off is on top of a steep hill but as a kid it's odds on you don't hit the tee shop and it rolls down the hill , odds on a lost ball and if you looked for the ball odds on you'd got tumbling down the hill with your golf clulb's scattered so it's a lost ball and 3 off the tee , maybe the ball would reah the bottom of the hill and end up in the burn so you got soaked retrieving it or lost ball , same if you hit a good drive but the wind carried it to the right and landed in the burn , worse , you hit a great drive but too hard and it ended up in the woods just beyond the green so in a way it was a par 6 hole lol ! . I got to the side of the green and swigged my juice for the next part of the journey home .

    Once I got to the Golf Course , there's 3 route's home , 1 . A very steep pathway that leads to the boulevard . 2 . Follow the burn that leads under a bridge below the boulevard but I haven't been that way for years and it's probably overgrown now so that left route 3 . Cross the 2nd hole Sow's Back hole that leads to the 13th hole , The Gully or it was the 13th hole when I was kid but every now and then they change the holes around .

    I found the shop at the bottom of the hill , dehydrating so I bought a can of Barrs Bublegum flavour juice 50% extra free and there's only one route home and that's through the Golf Course but I couldn't remember the last time I took that route home , maybe 36 years ago so there's a road passed the high flats that leads to a bridge between the 1st and 2nd hole , a dude was walking his dog playing the 1st hole with one golf club and I thought well done mate !

    Two routes left home , I thought I can't risk the park , too many stories of people getting pulled by the cops on patrol , on bikes and parked in sneaky places asking questions for your reasons why your in the park and handing on the spot fines and I thought , that's the last thing I need right now so I rouled that route out lol !

    It was a nice hot sunny day and I was dehydrating so I thought there's a shop somewhere near here so I had enough money to buy a can of ginger but the shop was at the bottom of a huge steep hill but that's the hardest route home because once you reach the top of that hill it's a long wle along the boulevard so I ruled that one out lol !

    The plate spinner and house bills and now an unexpected bill to pay for so I scrapped up the bus fare but it was 30-40 mins before it came and when I got there the post office had a sign up , as from 18th May 202 we shall now be closing at 4pm so I thought I'm here now might as well take the long walk to the next post office so it's inside the CO-OP shop and their sign said opening hour until 4.55pm so I asked shop staff why are they closed and it's as from 18th May 2020 they close at 4pm so a long walk for nothing but the excercise lol !

    It took a few hours to open the box , my head was gone , I was thinking back to when I first walked her and the deal was to watch Sasha for two weeks , food sent , bowls etc and when the ex-wife got back a 10 pack of Golden Virginia and I said no at first but thought it out , gets me out the house and the free tobacco saves me money that can go towards house bills so it was a no brainer . Friends and neighbours would say don't give her back , keep her , dogs take you out and you will find allsorts , money etc so I lost count at £150 so sash helped to pay for he upkeep in ways .

    Sasha Church R.I.P.

    My front door battered and I had a good idea it was thee courier from the Pet Crematorium . The dude handed me a box , I stuttered ,is that Sasha ? Pet Crematorium he said as he handed me the box .I put the box down on the living room carpet where she passed and tried to take it all in . I cleared the mantlepiece and put Sasha's urn up . Sasha is back home folks !
