1. For Bob Jewett and Doctor Dave, a super high-speed camera---

The lighting requirements might mean that you'd burn up a few things!
2. For Pat Fleming, a means of putting 300 DVDs on one disk:

Storage space would go way down, but who would buy the disk, and what would it cost?
Far out, but some day it'll be old stuff.
