cuetec Tap??

what size pin is are the cuetec cues???

a guy came top me last night and said he was going to need a new shaft in a week or 2 and for his cuetec and of course i said no problem lol and after words realized that i didnt have that tap.

if anyone has one they want to get rid of lemme know.
 
9mm x 14 tpi.

I grind the tap from a 3/8x14. I have a few in stock.

I highly recommend that you tap into a phenolic insert rather than just wood. I don't believe that the wood threads would hold-up.
When I build an aftermarket shaft for a CueTec I first fabricate a phenolic insert and end-ring all as one and install that in the shaft.
Then I'll drill/tap that after it's in the shaft and finish the required ring-work. I've done a few of them.

Prather had the undersized 3/8-14 taps in stock last time I checked. I picked one up from them in Valley Forge.
