I WUZ cleaning out a closet the other day and stumbled upon a box full CARL CONLON’s writings on 3 Cushion Billiards. :o I have not done a precise inventory but believe I have 6-10 copies plus the original left. According to one of CARL’s FORMULAS I shud get 5 X my material costs which means I shud sell these for $150 a copy. Fine and FU CARL, yr ded and gone as all good soldiers end up. :( AS TO THE REST OF YOU: Send me $100 and when you do I will send you one of these until I run out. THEN THE ORIGINAL WILL BE FOR SALE. All funds going to charitable causes of course in support of women’s billiards.
Do not call me on this unless u also want to buy a cue. Just send the $100 to Dennis Dieckman, 14511 Pleasant Lake Rd, Manchester MI 48158 USA and as soon as yr chck clrs I will ship a copy of CARL's WRITINGS out to u. Postage included in the $100.

I still remember playing 3-cushion in Carl's apartment in Ann Arbor. He had the table set up in his living room surrounded by collectible masks & other things from his world travels hanging on his walls, etc.

MY high run off the break is SEVEN......just ask MERCEDES cuz that is who it happened against......whatzzzz yrzzzz....give me da break u in deep du-du.......that day I kicka her ass up down and sideways on the green felt and she is steaming....first time we ever matched up [at Bill Maloney's Joint down in FLA].....next day I walk in and she izzz there waiting to ambush me and that day SHE KICKA MY ASS.....including an 8 on the break.......gotta love the lady

Not just for memory. I had a peak of it "On The Porch" while the Dieck was asleep.
Cool stuff in there. Lots of diagrams.

And Dennis, I haven't kept track of runs off the break. Just runs. Several double digits, countless 8's. Hit my first 9, 2 weeks ago. So that hole is finally plugged.

A seven anywhere in the game who cares. Need more than one run for it to matter.

ONLY FOUR SETS LEFT OF THE CONLON MATERIAL.

As I have covered my costs of duplication and postage any of these left that I sell the hundred will be earmarked to help the USBA if and when they decide to hold another women's or junior's chanpionship. :rolleyes:
