Changing Cue Weight

Is it possible to change the weight bolt in a Viking Cue? I'm use to a lighter cue but I liked the look of a Viking so I bought it, but it is heavier than what I am use to so I would like to try and make it lighter by changing the weight in the end of it.

i think you can change the bolt, or just cut a piece off it, a little at a time until its what you like. It will change the hit of the cue taking weight off the end of the cue, I have done it years ago and was happy, took me a little do get used to it.

All Viking cues feature an interchangeable pool cue weight bolt(s) system. Changing the pool cue's weight is an easy process that takes only a couple of minutes.

Here’s your simple guide to changing the pool cue weights in a Viking cue.
