matt pinfield likes pool - 08-04-2020, 06:44 PM

for any (fellow) mtv babies out there
or anybody keeping track of celebs who play-

from the annals of twitter, matt captions this pic with:

"Of course Id rather be playing pool right now...and taking over the jukebox-or streaming one of my playlists."

his post also reminds me that the pool spot is a place to be exposed to music- dig that.

A billiard table is that richest of metaphors,
by turns a theatre, an altar, touchstone, gauntlet,
ritual ground, a gunfighter's high noon, a refuge,
a verdant landscape for balls to scatter and rest in meaningful synchronicity,
a classroom, a karma dance, mirror of moods, a guide and trusted friend...

-- from grissim's "billiards"

I remember that guy. Before someone else says it....nice knuckle bridge. I used to do that as part of the bar box hustle back in the day. Coincidentally probably about the same time he was on MTV.
