Predator leather wrap - yay or nay?

I've been playing with a friend's predator cue and it has a leather wrap. I'm not a big fan of this leather wrap - for some reason it just doesn't feel that great.

I'm not a fan of this bumpy texture - i think a smooth leather wrap or even no wrap would feel better.

Anyone else feel the same way about the predator leather wrap?

Aren't their wraps usually imitation leather? That might be your problem.

I like the leather wrap on my Predators, but one thing I had to eliminate out of my game was the slip stroke. I can't do that with a leather wrap.

I believe predator uses a faux leather. That's what they call it. Think they have a couple variations. I have the sp2revo3 & I love the feel of it, especially with it also being extended. I always like the feel of some grip in my hand.
