AZ Forum logging in

I hope this isn't a dumb question. Why do I have to log in every time and then log in again if there is a period of inactivity like watching a pool video from a link in one of the threads. I was reading a thread in the main forum about an interview with Jennifer Barreta so I clicked the link and watched the interview. When I came back to the AZ page I was logged out.

I'm using Firefox Ver. 3.5.3 and this started after I installed and used CCleaner utility. CCleaner may not have anything to do with it, but I think this program may have changed one of my settings that i'm not familiar with. I used to hit the link to AZ and my browser would log me in with my screen name and password automatically, but now it doesn't do it as easily and I can't stay logged in.

Thanks in advance is someone knows what happened to my settings or computer.

I am assuming you clicked on the remember me button when you log in the first time and it still does it?

.

I had a problem browsing AZ on my blackberry. If you use remember me, then you can't switch to the Iphone skin. So currently I just browse using the Iphone skin w/out being logged in.

I also use Firefox and CCCleaner and I stay logged in with no problem. The only time I have to log back in is after I actually run CCCleaner as this clears your cookie data and internet storage. So if you are running CCCleaner everyday this would be normal. I only run CCCleaner once a month as part of my monthly computer cleaning.

I just checked and "Remember passwords for sites" is checked and the AZ Forum is listed under saved passwords.

Oh ya. There is also a setting in CCCleaner that will set it to auto run so you may need to check that also.

I only run CCleaner about twice a month, but the problem i'm having started after I used CCleaner the first time.

I check the "Remember Me" box when I log in. I'm using Firefox ver. 3.0.14 and haven't had any problems staying logged in.

Some of you are misunderstanding. After a period of inactivity I to have the same problem. I also run Firefox and have just updated recently. So it doesnt matter what version your running. I have never used internet explorer to log on to AZ so not sure there

One thing I forgot to mention is that after you have checked "Remember passwords for sites" and you later to a site and click remember me on, say, the AZB site, Foxfire will have a line pop up in the Foxfire menu section specifically asking if you want Foxfire to remember the password for the site. It is easy to miss because it is not where you are reading.

That was the way I finally cured my log in problems for this site.
