I like the wheels they chose to use. Should roll over linoleum without damaging it.

They are no flat type tires, I would prefer them to be a lil
bigger, but, they will surely work for us! They are designed
to not leave marks on anything. For the price, quality of build
and size it is going to work great. I spoke with a 30+ year
veteran in the counter top business about my needs and
other products on the market. He thoroughly reviewed the
Otlvise on https://www.stonefabricatorsalliance.com/ ,
so I know he understands that product. He assured me that the
Omni Cubed Pro Dolly HD-1 and the Mega Jaw Carrying combo
will work awesome for moving slate up stairs. By no means will
these do the job for us, but, it will make it 80% easier and less
risk of injuring our backs! I am not trying to substitute a slate
dolly for my helper, but, I am trying to make our days easier!!!

I have used the exact products that you have posted. They do make it easier, but nowhere near as easy as an OTLVise.

The OTLVise allows you to not need to lift the slates at all. With the Omni Cubed dolly and Mega-Jaws, you still need to lift the slates. And, you will still be required to carry them up and down stairs.

Are you talking about using the lift bar deal??
I have seen how an otlvise works and they still had
to pull the slates up the stairs

Mount the slate in the Omni Cubed Pro dolly
where the corner of the slate is at the back set of
wheels, attach the Mega Jaws and pull, helper spotting the bottom of the stairs.

I mentioned I am not expecting the dolly to carry
them up the stairs, or to replace my helper and just help us.

I am solid on my choice and to each their own.
Half the money, very compact and what I am going
to test out before I buy at a wholesalers warehouse.
I will report back down the road

The OTLVISE is the best thing on the market for you.
It’s designed for moving pool table slate and it only makes sense to support the market you work in day in and day out.
The OTLVISE is not on backorder or out of stock.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I am all good. Thanks for your advice.
I pretty much have made up my mind.
I guess you missed the other post about
how I have been trying to get in touch with
John Palmer to buy one and produced not a
SINGLE response by phone or email/ even
his personal facebook. So don't act like you
are trying to tell me something.

All of this non communication lead me to research
other products and talk to people who move stone
for a living. I am very confident the products I listed
will do exactly what I need it to and also will only
cost me half as much $$$$.

Omni Cubed is a solid company with a great reputation
in the stone moving business. I have a feeling any time
I need to get in touch with them, they will surely respond.

I will post my reviews when I get the equipment.

Any chance you could post a video review? For others who may potentially be in the market, it would be nice to have your video review for comparison.

You going to make a video showing us how easy it is to move 9ft table up the stairs with your new dolly? Maybe you could get more guys to buy these

Why on earth would I waste my time making a video of something I don't sell?
I will post my thoughts about the equipment

I am posting in the forum about something I am trying out.

I could care less about selling dolly's to anyone.
Not worried if anyone follows my lead

Not true for me and I am not interested in him or his product.
I will deal with a company that offers what I need and good customer support.

Trent from Toledo

p.s. I was on a trip up to Maine in January, called him a couple times on my way
up there and thought no biggie, I will get in touch on my way back down.
Called a handful of time and STILL NO RESPONSE. Then there is also
this from MARCH this year.

I HIGHLY doubt that. I cant even get in touch with John that makes them to buy one....
I have only seen 2 in 6.5 years. Jay from A-1 and Diamond. In comparison to the tools, it would be the most expensive for a table mechanic to have.

I gave my best advice. Its a Gold Crown 5, treat it like one and hire the best you can find to install one of the best pool tables made. Jay S. from A-1 Billiard Service!

Update. I just got off the phone with Omni Cubed
and their customer service was excellent.

I had some concerns that the 8" wheels would not
be big enough. So I called to ask about using a set
of the 10" wheels on it and they said no problem!
Then I got to thinking, looked at what the Otlvise
uses(they do not come with the package, was shocked),
why not see if they will use a 14" and called them back.
14" will work! They only carry the 8" and 10" so I called
the tire manufacturer and I can order the 14" direct

The wheels are not air filled, so designed not to go flat
and also will not leave any marks on anything. I know
that rubber hand truck tires can leave marks and also
track dirt/ debris with them. Learned that one the hard
way early on in my career.

For the price and simplicity of the HD-1 dolly and the
Mega Jaws, I am even more confident that my purchase
will work to get slates up stairs. That is the only thing I need
a dolly to do. The cost is far less and that is just a bonus.
