I had the privilege to take a 60 minute lesson from Mike this past weekend. He battled his way through a very tough tournament, but still took the time to help me after he was done.
The first thing I noticed is that Mike is a very nice guy. He was extremely positive, and he never made me feel inferior. His professional demeanor and constant encouragement made him extremely easy to work with.
I knew I had an alignment issue. My cue was not in a straight path to the target line. It was extremely frustrating, and I had no clue how to fix it. Mike noticed the problem right away, and he was able to correct the problem with a few simple adjustments to my grip.
He continued to evaluate my stroke, and I now have a list of 6 or 7 things to work on. Mike did a great job of explaining what my issues were and how to fix them.
