I've been playing with this Lucasi (model lze29) for a few years now. I added a OB Classic + shaft to it.
Sometime in the last three weeks or so it developed an issue at the joint on the butt. It now has a bit of a gap on one side. It rolls perfectly straight, so I probably wouldn't notice or mind it, but every so often it catches my beard and frankly it hurts and is annoying while I'm already flailing away at the table.
I will try to send it in for warranty service. My problem is I'll be without my only play cue for several weeks without a decent backup, and who knows what Lucasi will do.
I'm worried I'll have to replace a cue that I looked long and hard for the style and affordability of and have now become very familiar with.
Any recommendations on a similar style cue in the $3-500 range in case I have to switch?
