Smart shaft help please?

I just bought my first smart shaft and was wondering if someone can tell me if there is supposed to be a splice about 6"s from the joint end? Thanks

Yes, I own 3 of them. That is normal.

Cool, thanks. I take it you like them quite a bit since you have more than one of them. I just hope i like it as much or more as i do my ob1. Now, if the cue i bought it for would hurry up and get done, i could try it out. Can't hardly wait.

which Kind of smart shafts (they made 2 Models of SQUIRT. !!!!
