I need a little help. I bought a gold crown cue rack and am refinishing it. I just fixed 2 of the notches where the top of the cues rest. I am going to sand and stain the rack. my problem is the backer for the rack. the spot where the where the backer connects to the rack is rounded and seems to get slimmer at the top and bottom of the rack. For anybody who has the rack and refinished it, what did you use for the back? wood, plastic, or ?
