I was at SBE 2018 this year and saw Mike Lambros at
his booth on Thursday. He had sold all his cues again
by the time I spoke with him. I asked Mike how many
Titlist conversions he has ever done and to my surprise
his answer was 6. I knew it was a low number as I thought
maybe 12 or so, I was very pleased as I have 3 of them
and he will not do anymore. Boy am I glad I never sold
any of them. Here they are, for those who have
never seen them, the wrapless 26 1/2 is the only wrapless
titlist he has ever done and is my personal favorite. It was
made from a 1 piece 26 1/2 from 1920-1930 era and was still
dead straight in 2014 when it was converted. The Tim Scruggs
I purchased from Jack Justis last year at SBE. Jack traded Tim
the cue for the case about 16 years ago.
