FS: Ultra rare steel joint, veneered points Blue Grass

For sale is an ultra rare steel joint Blue Grass with veneered points. Less than 15 steel jointed cues have come out of the Blue Grass shop and very few (this may be the only one) had points with veneers. Richard's steel jointed cues hit exactly like his wood to wood jointed cues and play fantastic as you would expect. This cue is in excellent condition with zero flaws and all components are straight. Butt cannot be rolled for straightness due to the textured lizard skin wrap, but Richard recently spun it on his lathe and verified its straightness.

Spec's:

Made in 07/04/1992 (18th cue). Ivory diamonds were added in the points in 1994. Refinished in 2018 and genuine ringtail lizard wrap added. All work has been performed by Richard.

Butt:
Birdseye Maple forearm with 6 gaboon ebony points. Triple veneers (red-orange-yellow). Ivory diamonds in the long points. Geniune black ringtail lizard wrap. Below wrap has a macassar ebony butt sleeve with 6 ivory windows. Stainless steel joint. Butt weighs 456 grams (16.08 oz.) and is 29" long.

Shaft 1:

29" long with ivory (need to confirm) ferrule and Thoroughbred tip. Weighs 114 grams and is 13.14 mm right below ferrule.

Shaft 2:

29" long with micarta ferrule and Thoroughbred tip. Weighs 94 grams and is 13.06 mm right below ferrule.

Total weight is 20.1 oz with shaft 1 and 19.4 oz with shaft 2.
