One of three or four 'exotic wood' cues Danny Tibbitts made in 1991. It is hand-signed on the butt. All black is ebony, all white is ivory. Because one of the shafts is bent, I had a Sugartree shaft matched to the cue. The bent shaft is actually the one I use to play with and is the darker of the two original shafts. The whiter shaft is the Sugartree (center in pics). Alston made the three joint caps. The forearm was refinished by Scott Sherbine a few years ago and the original ivory joint replaced with a capped ivory joint. There is a little roll-out beneath the top part of the wrap. Scott did not mess with Danny's original linen wrap or the signed butt, other than to clean up. The cue is light, thinner than a normal cue, and has a nice forward balance. It plays fantastic. It was recently polished when the Sugartree shaft was matched to it.
