For sale is a matched set of Bob Thompson cues. These beauties play great. I'd keep them but I getting rid of almost everything. I'm trying to go minimalistic with my life and I have WAY too much stuff.
So, the cues are right at 19.5oz each. 3/8-10 pin. 2 shafts each cue (break cue has 1 micarta ferrul 13.5mm and one standard Elkmaster tip, wood ferrul 13mm) (regular cue has one standard Elkmaster tip, wood ferrul 13.3mm and one standard ferrul with Moori layered tip 11.4mm (this shaft has some blueing)). Both cues are made out of the same matching materials, Curly Maple handle, Bocote forearm and butt, Bubinga buttcap and joint and accent stripes thoughout the forearm, butt, and handle in opposing woods (maple handle = bocote accents). Dark Green micarta joint rings. The B/J cue breaks down above the handle for jumping. Each cue is signed and dated (1-3-2007) on the butt cap. Each cue comes with matching Jim Baxter joint protectors. Beautifully figured woods. These cues feels super solid and gives great feedback. A long time ago before I started shooting with Black Boars, these were my everyday cues. Bob's cues sell for $600 and up. I paid $700 apiece for these.
SOLD Pending Funds.
