When was the last time Vancouver hosted a billiards tournament?

I have heard that Mr. Thorburn and a couple of his business partners are trying to organize a seniors event in Vancouver to follow up on the very succesfull seniors event that was just held in England.
That would be fantastic if it comes through.
Davis, White, Doherty, Bond, Ebdon, Parrott, Taylor, Johnson.
And hopefully Thorburn, Stevens, Robidoux, Chaperon representing Canada.
The event would be awesome.
