OK I have a question for you room owners.I'm building a 32x32
room so that figures to 1024 sq ft.How many 9 footers will fit comfortably
and stiil leave a bit of space for seating and such?

I just did this and I found the easiest way is to take a piece of paper; draw out your room. Make it to scale so for instance 1 inch = 1 foot. Cut out boxes that represent pool tables if using the above scale a 9 foot table would be 9 inches x 4 1/2 inches. Move the table boxes around the square footage and see how they fit best. Leave a minimum of 6 feet between tables and walls for shooting room and to account for rails. Hope this helps.

I've always used graph paper, a ruler and pencil and drawn the tables in, giving 5' space from the edge of the table to the wall (or counter) and typically 41/2' between tables. Most commercial tables are about 60" X 110", depending on the width of the top rail. The cue stick is about 5', and you need to be able to stroke to the edge of the rail. With 32' you could just line the tables up (three on each side) and have seating near the walls. You might get 6 tables in that way. could be tight in the width though
