Used or New pool table on a limited budget?

My buddy (@pocket) and I bought a couple of Gold Crown 1's for $400 each. They need a little TLC but they are complete, original 1's. We are restoring ours ourselves all the way and after restoration costs, rail work (subrails extended, new rubber) and setup (860HR) we will be in them for about $2,200 each. When done, we will have virtually brand new tables to be enjoyed for decades to come.

Deals are out there you just have to be diligent in your search. We found ours on LetGo.

I bought a all original parts GCIV in mint condition. New 860 showed it was the first time it was recovered. Delivery, set-up, cloth it was $2,500. Oh, very happy with this table. Sold my crappy furniture grade table and never looked back.
