Quote " Other highlights of the tournament included Thailand's Un-Nooh making a 147 on Saturday, the first maximum of his career and worth a £40,000 bonus, as well as veteran Jimmy White reaching the quarter-finals of a ranking event for the first time in 12 years before his run was ended by Dale. "
Un-Nooh ends 147 hoodoo :
Quote " "I feel as if I'm flying," said Un-Nooh. "The two blacks I missed last year were still in my head. If I had known this one was for £40,000, maybe I would have missed again. I was relieved that the black was easy. There was a lot of pressure because I have never made a 147 in a pro tournament before."
Remember when Ronnie knocked in the 146 & said the 147 Prize Money wasn't worth it controversy ? It just crossed my mind that when Thepchaiya Un-Nooh missed those two Black Balls for a 147 did he think the same ? I very much doubt it !
Thepchaiya Un-Nooh's 147 is well worth another view :
