I have an amazing Guffey that belongs to a friend of mine up forsale. It is loaded with the good stuff. Everything white on the cue is real except for the buttcap. It was replaced a few years back bc of a crack. The original one read JOHN GUFFEY in black on it. Even the small checkered squares around the joints are real I believe. They are small and hard to see, but with magnification, the grain lines can be seen. Cue comes with two shafts. Both standard length 29” and both have iv@$y ferrules as well. Shaft #1 is 3.5oz and 13mm at tip, shaft #2 is 3.4oz and 12.6mm at tip. Butt is 29” and 16.6oz and has a 3/8-10 pin. Wrap is embossed snakeskin. I can’t even begin to count the number of inlays in this cue, I’ve not seen another Guffey at this level. It was made in 1997 and was purchased at the famous Bert Kellerman Estate Cue auction. The cue has some flaws in the finish, mostly small chips in the clear and other minor skuffs. No dents or dings that get even close to being deep enough to get into the wood. Cue honestly needs to be refinished, and the seller is willing to work that into price or have it done as part of the sale. Any work done on the cue would be done by precision billiards and all documentation would be provided. More pictures available on request, I have plenty of closeup images of the woods used, the inlays, and any issues in the clear. Feel free to email me at cothronscott@yahoo.com. Owner is asking $2,500 shipped and insured but will listen to any reasonable offer lower 48 PayPal preferred f&f or add 4% goods and services. References available upon request. Trades unlikely, but would be considered. Again, it belongs to a friend so any potential trades would have to be run by him.

I recall that cue. Bert had several of them that were somewhat similar. Good hitting cue. I might be interested for sentimental reasons.
