Steve Klapp custom in progress..

Reeeeeealllly close to done at this point and I couldn't be more excited. Drove up to Steve's shop to take a sneak peek today and I couldn't be happier with how things are turning out. Can't wait to play with it and Steve is one of the nicest guys I've met.

Details...snakewood butt sleeve, all white is cueball, black phenolic buttcap and cueball/black phenolic ring work. 3 long ebony points with white/black veneers, 3 shorter snakewood points with white/black veneers into figured Birdseye forearm. Spanish bull wrap from Martin at superior cues

Question. Is those points in the handle section? Like a barcue? Curious..

My understanding is that it's a full splice cue that's aged, cut down and used for the handle wood. I'm no cue maker or expert though!
