Here are some break statistics from the 2014 Derby City Classic 9-Ball event, streamed by Accu-Stats.
The conditions for this event included: Diamond 9-foot table with approx. 4 1/2" (I think) corner pockets, Simonis cloth, Diamond wooden rack, Cyclop TV balls, winner breaks, rack your own, break from anywhere behind the line, no jump cues allowed, all slop counts, and a 40-second shot clock (one extension per player per rack unless at hill/hill, then two extensions per player).
The 10 streamed matches (137 games tracked) were as follows. The figures in parentheses are the Accu-Stats Total Performance Averages (TPA), as calculated by Accu-Stats (no TPA was given for some of the matches):
Overall results -- The breaker made at least one ball (and did not foul) 75% of the time (103 of 137), won 58% of the games (80 of 137), and broke and ran 34% of the games (47 of 137).
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the 137 games.
Break-and-run games: The 47 break-and-run games (34% of all the games) consisted of 5 three-packs, 6 two-packs and 20 singles. No one broke and ran 4 or more games in a row. These 47 games included 6 9-balls on the break (4.4% of all breaks).
