Connelly rail height

Greetings,

I'm trying to drum up a little more discussion on a thread I have going over in the mechanic's area, but don't want to start a completely new one here...

The gist of the thread is that, apparently, Connelly tables are being manufactured with rails that have a nose height of ~1-5/16"...

Anyone with any comments about Connelly rails being outside the BCA spec.?
