I had this refinished by Russ’s nephew last year. Also had a 30-1/4” 12.5 mm shaft made for it. It’s cocabola into birdseye maple.
I have a second shaft that’s also 30-1/4 and 12.5 made by a cue builder in Alabama.
When you roll the cue it always comes to rest in the same spot. The shafts roll fine on and off of the cue the settling is in the butt.
Cue plays well. It’s a little heavy for my liking, probably pushing 20 ounces. I haven’t weighed it to be sure.

One specific partial trade would be a 3/8-10 30” 12.75mm Jacoby Ultra Pro shaft or possibly another low deflection shaft with those dimensions.
