Jules till not long ago didn't do inlays but the bigger mastery is to make a simpler cue to look fancy, stylish and like something special then get that effect by using lots of inlays and all his cues look even at the first sight as something special.
Jules stopped building cues so his cues have become really hard to get and their valu le have gone up and will keep going up.
Firstly, because they are fantastic players, one of the best with one of the best shaft wood in the industry. Process of choosing shaft wood is highly meticulous, slow and tought by Randy Mobley.
Secondly, workmanship is always amazingly tight and there is no way any of his cues leaves the shop if Randy and Jules weren't fully satisfied with the final outcome and you know how big perfectionist Randy is.
